The XGA VS-XE74U LED Projection Engine brings Smart7 intelligence, modular flexibility and low maintenance advantages to custom display walls and retrofit installations. The VS-XE74U engine, powered by Texas Instruments DLP® technology, is the same projection engine found in our 50” – 67” XGA rear projection cubes with redundant LED light source.

The light output of the projection engine is monitored with three individual color sensors. This information is used by Mitsubishi Electric’s integrated Dynamic Brightness Balancing and Color Space Control functions, sharing the data among adjacent cubes and automatically adjusting the cubes as needed for correct color balance and brightness over the entire display wall. This is accomplished without the need for external sensors, PC’s, or user intervention.

Mitsubishi’s proprietary Digital Gradation Circuit automatically compensates for the brightness level at the edges of the screen where brightness usually fades, thus ensuring the optimum brightness distribution and uniformity over multi-screen tiled configurations.

The VS-XE74U LED Projection Engine features three input board slots that can receive any combination of our optional input board types, so that you can tailor your display wall input signal connections to fit your needs.

The XGA projection engine integrates simplified internal processing, so you may not require an external image processor. When properly configured, each cube can display up to four windows and one background image per screen, or as many as six windows if a background image is not used across the display wall. You can move multiple windows freely and, when using Mitsubishi D-Wall Software, control the system with an intuitive graphical user interface.

The Smart Switch function in every VS-XE74U LED Projection Engine provides you with the redundancy you require for mission critical applications and continuous operation. If a signal is unexpectedly lost, the display cube automatically switches to an alternative signal source within seconds. You experience minimal downtime while saving time and money.
